Recreational cannabis is legal for adults 21 and over in Oregon and California, but the rules change as you cross county and city lines. This is our guide to licensed dispensaries in Ashland, Talent, Phoenix, Medford, Central Point, Weed, Mount Shasta and Dunsmuir, starting with Kaleafa in Ashland, plus the local rules that matter if you are staying with us in Etna.

Know before you go
- 21 and over, with a valid government ID.
- Do not carry cannabis across the Oregon and California state line. Interstate transport is against federal law, even between two legal states. Buy on the side of the border where you will use it.
- Never drive impaired, and keep any purchase sealed and out of reach while driving.
- No public consumption in either state.
- Siskiyou County rules differ by town. Weed and Mount Shasta allow storefront retail. Yreka allows only a medical, non-storefront delivery business. Unincorporated Siskiyou County, which includes the area around Lake Shastina, prohibits all commercial cannabis activity.
